My name is Julie — the founder and creator behind FungyBar.
A growing fascination with real foods, medicinal plants and botanical traditions from around the world inspired me to create FungyBar with a vision of making herbalism more accessible and enjoyable.
From Nordic folk medicine to Ayurveda, I believe nature holds unique wisdom and compounds that can offer support in meeting the demands of modern life. The more I researched, the more I questioned why so many of these ingredients were consumed through powders, capsules and supplements rather than being integrated into our foods.
That question inspired me to develop the first bar — a brownie bar with Chaga mushroom. As new ideas continued to emerge, more bars followed. To this day, FungyBar is driven by both the intrinsic joy of creativity and a desire to support people through better, more wholesome foods.
