Refund and Returns Policy
1. Introduction
Welcome to FungyBar! We want our customers to be satisfied with our products. Our refund and return policies are designed in accordance with Norwegian legislation and the Consumer Authority’s standard terms for consumer purchases of goods over the Internet. Please read through our guidelines below for information about your rights.
1. Right of Withdrawal
FungyBar sells food products that are exempt from the right of withdrawal under the Right of Withdrawal Act, as these are goods that may quickly deteriorate or expire. This means that, as a consumer, you cannot exercise the right of withdrawal on food products ordered from our online store.
2. Complaints about Defective or Damaged Goods
Although the right of withdrawal does not apply to our food products, you are protected by the Consumer Purchases Act if the product has defects or damage. If you receive a product that is damaged or has other defects, you have the right to file a complaint within a reasonable time.
- Complaint Deadline: If there is a defect in the item, you must notify us within a reasonable time after discovering or should have discovered the defect. According to the Consumer Authority, a complaint is always considered timely if it is submitted within two months of discovering the defect. The right to complain applies for up to two years from when you received the product.
- How to File a Complaint: Send us a message via our customer service at contact@fungybar.com with information about the product and documentation of the damage (e.g., a photo).
Once we receive your complaint, we will assess whether the product is eligible for a complaint. Upon approval, you may receive:
- A replacement product at no additional cost.
- A refund of the purchase price.
- A price reduction if the defect is minor.
3. Refunds
If a refund is agreed upon following an approved complaint, the amount will be refunded to the same payment method used for the purchase. The refund will be processed without undue delay and no later than 14 days after the complaint is confirmed and the item, if necessary, has been returned to us.
4. Returns
We generally do not require returns of damaged or incorrect goods, but if necessary for compensation or a refund, we will cover return shipping costs for approved complaints. Return items must be sent back to us without undue delay after the complaint is approved.
